Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some help or tips on how to paint one of my favorite aircraft, Dave Maltby's BAC 1-11. I downloaded the paint kit (yes it does have the proviso for "expert painters") , but there are no instructions whatsoever. When I look at the texture files for repaints they all have different naming conventions as opposed to the original paint kit names. This is confusing to me as well as the multiple parts and layers that are in the paint kit. I've had experience painting cars for racing sims and a few simple planes so I'm not a total noob at this but I'm obviously not an expert painter so I'm stumped.

I really want to paint this bird so any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Been a while since I've done any repaints, I know how difficult they can be at times.  May I suggest that you have your post moved to the Paint Shop forum where you will get more help.  That section has been an excellent resource for me in the past.
