GTN 750 problem

It installed and works mostly fine but even though the nav radios are correctly tuned, they do NOT affect the Nav OBS display gauge. If I tune the nav radio in the panel comm stack, the OBS gauge works perfectly.

Anyone have it working?

Thanx,

Vic

Hi Vic, when you install the GTN it removes the Nav/Com 1 radio so it must be Nav2 that you're tuning with the stack mounted radio. To use Nav1 on a VOR you just need to tune the freq in the GTN then hit the OBS button near the bottom edge of the screen. (simply the equivalent of the NAV/GPS switch in default planes) That should turn "GPS" in magenta to "VLOC" in green just below the button, and the main HSI needle should then track the VOR.

Does that help or am I missing the point?

That may be it. Thought sure I had it set to vloc.  Will check later this afternoon.

Thanx Jim!

EDIT: Found the problem - it was the BDU.
