Anyone using UTX USA2.0 with FTX Global?

Recommended Posts

I did switch and you are correct Patric - it does look even better.Vic

For instance the UTX custom landclass textures a blending perfectly within the GEX textures, however when using FTXG they do not so.

But there is one point I do not like so much when using the GEX/UTX combo. The UTXv2 European LC for rural regions are not placed very well, especially the forests are not there where they should be. I have tested it with several German regions, and the result is not very good. So I think you will need an optional LC addon with better forest placement when one uses GEX/UTX.

I find the textures sharper and more realistic. FTX colors can sometimes be too bright, almost cartoonish where the GEP3D textures are more subdued and realistic IMHO. As Patric said - the blending of the two is much better.

I bought it but I am having trouble figuring out scenery priority order. I have FTX Global and now UTX USA.

Also I'm not seeing light options. How can you use FTX lights for UTX with prepar3d. It seems to only be modifying FSX not P3D
