People have some old PCs laying around..they should be able to use these as well. Those types of architectural thingis is what they need to work on.. not give us just one more pretty airplane.

<<<<>>>Just out of interest, I made a series of comparisons of FS and Google Earth the other night, using the tilt feature of Google Earth to line up vistas.FS won every time in terms of credibility. Yes, Google Earth has the more defined straight-down view in areas that have been well mapped (few, in the general scheme of things as it is clearly a work in progress) but when angling views, FS rocks. Maybe no one,but everyone will buy it,doesn't matter what they say on these fourms they will buy the new sim when it comes out. There are lots of improvements to make. Start with the seemingly non-ending blurry textures that come and go,please fix that first. I'd really like a rudder that works as it should, not like a bungee cord on a spring that "boings" you back when you let off the rudder.I'll buy the new sim and so will everyone else on these forums.David

Actually, you're right. I was just speaking in terms of photographic texturing. The mesh rendering in Google Earth, if you'll pardon the expression, sucks. I was checking out my area here in Graham, Washington, and the view of Mount Rainier is much, much more true to life in FS9 (with Justin Tyme's freeware 38 meter mesh) than in GE.-Jon><<<<Earth>>>>>>Just out of interest, I made a series of comparisons of FS and>Google Earth the other night, using the tilt feature of Google>Earth to line up vistas.>>FS won every time in terms of credibility.
