July 21, 200520 yr If you move on down the channel (South) a couple of miles you will see a cruise ship that is part of the same package and guess what - no wake either. The "wake fairy" must have visited the area!
July 21, 200520 yr Hey there!Try opening imagetool, open the wake file, then reverse the alphachannel and save. That should do it?I had this problem with FSPeople at one point, suddenly my "people" were surrounded by an aura of blue which should be see-through. It was a mystery to me, I just imagine I had accidentally at some point changed them in a batch process, don't know.Try the above mentioned, anyway...cheers, Dasher7
July 21, 200520 yr No cigar - assuming you meant for me to use the "flip" command. Still white as new snow.Methinks this addition will have to be discarded although Holger Sandmann highly recommended it in his Glacier Mesh package. Thanks for the advice though.
July 21, 200520 yr If you get a chance, I hope you might try the add-on yourself - and any manipulations - and let us know if you see the problem and more importantly if you find a cure!
July 21, 200520 yr Hi againYeah, that's what I meant, flip command.I just downloaded the file, will look at it tonight, looks like a good addon anyway. Can't get back to you till tomorrow, maybe someone has found answer by then ;)Later,dasher7
July 22, 200520 yr Ok, got it...The blg was referring to a wake.bmp that doesn't exist in the download! I think there was a default "wake.bmp" in FS2K2 and thus this addon refers to that file. Probably.Anyway, simply put a wake.bmp in the main texture folder, that should catch all those old ones :) For a wake I used the one that came with Daniel Gauthier's Switzerland scenery (A MUST HAVE). It fits very well, although that Juneau destroyer looks dangerously close to doing an Exxon Valdez with that oxygen trail...By the way, for anyone installing the Swiss scenery: YES you can dump all the separate airport files into the same folder! They share textures and this will save you time and space.Hope this helped "Opa"!-Dasher7
