Chillblast and Matt Davies announce new line of FSX PCs

Featured Replies

Saw this announcement the other day and noticed there wasn't a thread here yet

Partly in response to the "FSX Genius" debacle, Matt Davies (Belynz) collaborated with Chillblast to introduce a new line of dedicated Flight Sim PC's.

The most interesting part of it for me is that Matt Davies is *not* taking a cut from the individual sales of the PCs, which in turn meant that Chillblast reduced the final price. I found that to be quite a pleasant surprise!

I bought my current laptop at Chillblast last year. It's a Defiant2 17" with i7 4810MQ 2.70 GHz (3.7GHz Turbo) and GTX 860 based on Clevo backbone. I am very satisfied with the performance, especially after installing FSX Steam.

I can confirm that Chillblast is very supportive and professional both in the configuration and the support step. They helped me a lot with the configuration of my laptop by clarifying all my concerns and suggesting the best quality/price solution for my needs. They are also pretty competent in flight simulation, which is a plus compared to other similar vendors I had contacted at that time for a quote.

I can only recommend Chillblast. Only problem: EUR lost lot of strenght against GBP in the last two years, which makes buying at Chillblast now pretty expensive for Euro buyers.
