GeForce Experience Shadowplay - FSX CTD

Featured Replies

In the last 2 days i have tried to record a departure in FSX. I have turned off AI traffic also.

When recording starts it takes literally 4mins and FSX immediately closes to desktop (CTD).

Really annoying!

I have the UIautomationcore in the FSX folder just for reference.

These are the last 5 shutdown recordings below...

Each one of the crashes you had indicate high fsx settings.  If you look in the AVSIM CTD Guide, you'll see at the end of the guide the probable causes of these crashes.  All indicate the crash indicates high settings.  The API.dll indicates you are running out of VAS too.  I would suspect you have a tweak or tweaks in your config that are causing your crashes.  The BufferPool tweak is the most likely suspect.

AI settings will not affect FSX in the near term but will in the long term as the flight plans around the world are loaded and the AI aircraft are loaded to run those flight plans.

The uiautomationcore.dll also causes some of these types of crashes.  Wrong version will do it.  The AVSIM CTD Guide tells you what version to use (or recommended).  Try the settings as we recommend in the AVSIM FSX Configuration Guide.  They work for most.  The links to the guides are located to the right of this forum under Hot Spots.

I might add that it is extremely important that you have the correct versions of Microsoft Visual C++ and Microsoft.net installed too.
