Fs2crew

Featured Replies

Hello guus,

I just bought fs2crew for my 777 and 320. I installed it correctly but it does not pick up wat i say. But rarely it does. It does pick up words like "yes" " set" etc.

Other then tht it does not pick up like gear down or up etc.

Wats wrong?

Need advice...

you ran  the speech recognition a few times first is the first place  to start  so your pc  knows  what your trying  to say.  You have to run it  a few  times   and   have no other  sound  running in the background either

Have you gone to the FS2Crew support pages and followed the documentation? It might help. As Pete said, run through the speech training program a few times, twice really help med out

Don't take this the wrong way, but given the way you write, either you speak very lazily, and as such need to speak more clearly and in better English, or you are not a English native speaker, and the same rule applies. If you are not a native speaker, then you have a fun challenge ahead to improve you're English. And improving a second language is never a bad thing.

Codechris,

I havent gone throught the speech training. Ur second advice might be the problem as i live in india and dont speak english on regular basis.

Ok, go through the speech training, more then once. I am an English native speaker and it had big problems with me until I run through the training. I did it a few times. It will help though, and it doesn't take too long.

You can also add words to the Windows Speech Dictionary, where you record yourself saying the words and that helps. The program had big problems understand the word "Green Light" for me, so I entered it in to the dictionary and it has helped
