How easy it to share scenery and non-sim specific addons between FSX SE and P3D?

I would like to have FSX SE installed with all of my addons and one version of P3D with minimal addons installed due to regular patching from LM. Would it make any difference if FSX SE is installed on another SSD?

It shouldn't Toby. As long as they path(s) to the items are correct you should be fine. I have seen several people just install their add-ons to a neutral folder and set the paths in FSX/P3D.

 

I did that for a while until I moved FSX to a different machine.
