Installed FSX reboot, old version still runs

Featured Replies

I purchased and downloaded the FSX reboot; however, nothing new runs, it is still the same old version. I re-downloaded everything again and it did not change anything. Is there something else I need to change to have it begin using the reboot FS2Crew?

Thanks!

Please do this:

1. Uninstall the PMDG 737 NGX.

2. Manually delete any left over PMDG 737 folders in the "Simobjects" folder.

3. Re-install the NGX (SP1D or later version).

4. Your NGX is now totally fresh and clean (especially the all important panel.cfg file).

5. Run the FS2Crew NGX Reboot Configurator.

6. Select press the Enable Fs2Crew.

7. That will add the FS2Crew Reboot entries to the NGX's panel.cfg file.

You're good to go!

I think your problem is that you were trying to enable Reboot using the old FS2Crew NGX Config Manager.

Reboot has a brand new Config manager.

It looks like this (this is the map section, but you get the idea):
