ActiveSky V Movie...

Featured Replies

Adeym,Your movie was great and I was hoping someone else would have asked this question (before the moderator stepped out of line): where did you get the moving cars for that landing? Or were those even supposed to be cars? Either way, the scenery in the end was fantastic. I would love to know from where you acquired that scenery but you saw what happened in the last thread, so please do not answer that question! Great video. Thanks for taking the time to create and show us such an eloquent use of FS. Edit:(For those who would like to discuss Adeym's movie, please post in this thread. All other posts somewhere else please).

Yeah, that last thread ended in a mess, however we are all human!Anyway, Info about the video and you are going to love this. The scenery at the end is Milano LIML and it does include the cars driving up and down the road and its FREEWARE scenery by ISD! Its in the Avsim file library so here are the links. You need these two filesThe Airport sceneryhttp://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=43767Photorelistic groundtextures for Milanohttp://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=43768Thanks for the comments, and enjoy!

Thanks for the quick reply! How are the frame hits with moving cars and such? I would love to plug that scenery into Vatsim!!

Hardly any impact at all, the scenery runs very smooth at all times. Most ISD scenery does! With ActiveSky V running hard I get about 25-30fps

What movie? links please.I see a cirrus cloud video on the website...but thats not a movie.. its a slideshow with back ground music.

Although I think much can be done with default clouds if one were to play with the layers a bit, I think you can create much the same feeling.Anyway, good Movie again, Adrian. I also regret my posting in the other thread. Sometimes I need to step away for a couple hours and mull over my initial reaction before posting it.Sorry to all,Dave Blevins
