I need help, like serious help.

 

I have the pmdg 737 ngx installer and when I try to install it to steam edition, it goes to the box version.

I also uninstalled the box version and then when I ran the installer, It said, "unable to locate fsx.exe."

 

There is a steam edition now but I dont know how to update the installer to steam edtion.

 

I just need some help.

You need to check on the Aerosoft website for an updated installer.

Does anyone else have a suggestion? Going to the aerosoft website does not solve my answer.

The FSX registry entry might be corrupt, you could try running the FSX registry repair tool here: http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library

It isn't clear to me from your post whether you purchased the NGX directly

from PMDG or a boxed version from Aerosoft or somewhere else. You are using

"boxed" but maybe only to refer to FSX Boxed version.

 

You need to have the latest version of the NGX. If you bought it from PMDG

go to your store account there and download the whole installation file.

 

If you bought a boxed version of the NGX, go to Aerosoft, find the link to

download the latest version, enter the key from your boxed copy, and down-

load the full installer there.

 

Then see if you can install.

 

Also, PMDG wants you to sign your full name in its forums.
