How to get rid of the Nordic light?

Featured Replies

Please!Microsoft seems to believe that there is a Nordic light even in the middle of the summer.Anyone knows how to turn it of?/Bengt

I have seen the northern lights in northern Michigan in mid August.

I used to be heavily into backyard astronomy and saw auroras at various times of the years. It all depends on the current activity on the Sun and not on anything seasonal.

They just mentioned on the news earlier today that there is a corona mass ejection going on and we should be able to see some good auroral activity this week.

It would be neat if FS2004 would read solar activity news and make the appropriate auroras hehe

Just remove the threeaurora fx modules from the "effects" folder. I don't "think" this will crash the sim, but if you get some goofy error, replace the files... You could store them in a backup folder, or replace from the CAB... BTW...Anyone ever see a shooting star in FS9? They have a shooting star module, but dang....Afterquite a while of flying FS9, I have yet to see one...Maybe they are triggered by a date...IE: usual meteorshowers...MK
