Once upon a time I used to put my cursor on a knob or a Direction Indicator and I could see information such as what the dial is or what heading I had, not sure what happened but now I have nothing when I hover my cursor over said knobs, dials and buttons etc.

 

I seem to recollect this action before I installed DX10 Fixer so wonder if that's the problem? I checked the various options.

 

Show Cockpit Tool Tips is checked so if there is there something I've missed?

There was the line that stated that having no tooltips was unfixable.
