Hi,I normally run with the ATC panel undocked to a second monitor but after installing cat 5.7 drivers my FPS dropped dramatically to around 5 - 6 from my normal 25. After a bit of playing around I found that te FPS jumped back to 25 after redocking the ATC panel to the main panel, as soon as I right click on the ATC panel and select undock the FPS plunge again to around 5, any ideas or anyone else experienced this?Many thanks,Pete.

I have not experienced any FPS drop with the ATC panel undocked to a second monitor, and I am also using the Cat 5.7 drivers. I also have all the cockpit guages and the GPS undocked to the same monitor as the ATC panel on a modified 2D cockpit panel.Bmp. I have a modified 2D top panel that is basically the window frame and the upper 1/3 of the main panel with a few guages on my primary monitor panel.Bmp, and it hasn't made any difference to my FPS. I did try a third monitor using an additional PCI video card with the Cat 5.7 drivers, and that really plunged my FPS, so I gave up on that idea.Not really sure why the ATC panel would cause you to loose FPS. Technically, I don't see why it should, unless you are flying from the VC on your primary monitor. I used to do that with the GPS and the ATC undocked to the 2nd monitor, and it did cut into my FPS. When I switched to having one monitor under the other, and using the 2D panels, I noticed no frame rate hit at all. This was quite some time ago though, before the Cat 5.x series of drivers. If all was running well before the Cat 5.7's, maybe try re-installing the new drivers. I had to do a re-install, because the first install of the 5.7's was quirky. I am also useing the version with CCC, if that makes any difference.

Hi,Thanks for the reply, I will try reinstalling the drivers, maybe with CCC, and see if that makes any difference. I too have other panels, throttle and radio, undocked to monitor 2 with no problems, also I have the overhead in the PMDG undocked to a 3rd monitor on a second PCI graphics card again with no problems (I can maintain about 25fps, I did have a problem with exaggerated stuttering when I added the 3rd monitor but removing hardware acceleration from this monitor cured it (almost).Pete.
