August 20, 201510 yr I keep getting not stable go around on SOP3 , so tried staying on autopilot below 500 ft for ILS approach but FO still calls not stable . Is there something I missing or not doing ?

November 17, 20169 yr Hi, Can you please tell me under what circumstances the F/O decides that the approach is not stable and Go-around ? Is it based on the VREF, bank angle, flaps settings , or anything else ? Best regards Steve
November 17, 20169 yr Commercial Member We're looking at: Speed within VREF + 20 / - 5 Gear Down Landing Flap Set (position equals FMC selection for ldg flap) Vertical speed > -1300 I think 1 and 4 are a bit on the lax side, but we give you some wiggle room since it's FSX and FSX weather can be weird sometimes.
