Deleting shader folders and DX10

Recommended Posts

In the CTD guide, it is mentioned that one possible solution to FSX abnormality and crashes is deleting the shader folders and shader cache. It even recommends that this be done from time to time regardless. Does this procedure affect the DX10 Fixer at all. I understand that the DX10 fixer also makes use of shader files?

They are only temporary files.  How can temporary files affect a permanent program called DX10 Fixer?

If you go into the fixer debug dialog and press apply it will rebuild the shaders for you.
