Well everyone knows its friday today, well here in the UK anyway. But my CDU in the POS INIT page is showing GMT-MON/DY? Can this be changed

MON is an abbreviation for month and not Monday as in 08 and DY is the day as in 28. I don't believe it can be changed and if you could change it, what would be the purpose?
