Check that your viewpoint doesn't get into the headrest when you move your view to other panel. It is a very common and recurrent problem here on that forum.

As far as I remember (I haven't use them for years) there are some key commands to move the viewpoint in the VC. Check in the commands keys options of fsx which ones are assigned by default.

Move your eyepoint using:

CTRL+ENTER/BACKSPACE

SHIFT+ENTER/BACKSPACE

CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER/BACKSPACE

What are exactly the symptoms? Does the cursor change shape when you hover over the buttons?

Does it occur only with the overhead panel or in the whole cockpit?

 

If the whole cockpit freezes, then you could try to cycle the views (external view then back to cockpit).

 

If it doesn't work only on some panels, what panel state do you use? Default ones provided with the NGX or customized/saved ones?

In that case, try to load the aircraft with the panel state called "Default" to check if the issue happens again.
