August 4, 200520 yr When you hit spacebar in VC mode you are returned to the starting position. How do you adjust that setting so that the position you are returned to is different? Say not as far forward, maybe back a bit, sitting in the pilot's seat for instance.Any tips will be greatly appreciated.Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
August 4, 200520 yr in the aircraft.cfg file, there is a eyepoint section, changing the numbers will change the default eyepoint. I think the first number is up/down, 2nd is side to side, 3rd is forward/backward. I always get them mixed up though
August 6, 200520 yr Active Camera does it best. For $15.00 American, you can use the mouse wheel and arrow keys to move all around the VC, putting yourself in the first officer's seat, etc. Highly recommended.http://www.alaska.faa.gov/fai/Clipart/SmlAcft.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
August 6, 200520 yr Author I have active camera and per your suggestion I just read on how to pre-set a viewpoint in the vc that you can go to every time by a single keyboard command. I am going to set one up that seats me in the pilot's seat in the vc.Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
