September 13, 201510 yr Yes I know about that but your still having to setup a flight. I guess there is no way in X Plane to save a flight and have that flight open, with every setting and situation in place. It's still not 100% clear exactly what you want, but I suspect you are still thinking the FSX way where there's an default FLT situation file. Not a problem but here over at the dark side things work a little differently. In X-Plane these are the things you can configure at startup: QUICKFLIGHT SETUP screen *Airport (defaults to nearest physical airport when X-Plane was last quit regardless of size) *Plane (defaults to last plane used when X-Plane was last quit) Always track real date and time (or time preset choices) Use real weather and winds aloft (or weather preset choices) - an active weather plugin will override this OPERATIONS & WARNINGS settings *Start each flight on ramp *Start each flight cold and dark Discard changes to preferences *Changes to these settings are saved when you quit X-Plane unless the "discard changes to preferences" setting is checked Hope that helps!
