Moving Cars

Featured Replies

I have just recently reinstalled CoF as well as added Ultimate Terrain and the Genesis Cordillera Mesh. I haven't done a whole lot of flying at night but I wanted to take a look see at the new great lighting effects. To my surprise, the "car blibs" along the highway were static. Just blobs of lights stationary.Do I not remember correctly that during the night or dusk, the "car lights" are supposed to seem to move along the highways and roads?Darryl

I think the only version of fs. that had that was fs2000. keith

Yeah all lighting in UT is static... But back in FS2000, there were nighttime road textures that showed lights moving around. Was always fun to chase them in a Cessna :)

Flytamapa's KMDW has moving traffic around the airport and is very good on frames (although it is nothing like the real traffic in that area of Chicago). Kind of cool when your coming in on final and you can see the cars moving about.I also added some moving cars around some of the airports I fly into and out of with Lagos FSE with little to no FPS hit.XP Home SP2Asus P4P800-SE Intel 3.0GHZDDR 400 D/C 4x512MBLeadtek 6800GT 256MB (77.72)SB AudigyCH Products Yoke/Pedals USBSee you in the fence...CYYZ

Several addon airports, and airport environments, have moving cars and/or lights, but default FS does not.Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a]
