I'm having an error after downloading part 2 of North America. 7zip says it cannot open file as archive. Part 1 works fine. I've downloaded it several times and keep getting this error.

In the installation tutorial, we describe how only the first part of the multi-part downloads can be extracted. If all parts of the archive are in the same folder, .001 and .002, then when you extract .001, the second archive will also extract automatically. You cannot open any of the archive parts except the .001 file. That is how multi-volume archives work in 7-ZIP.

 

Since extraction of the .001 part was successful, then you likely had successfully extracted .002. It's a seamless operation.
