P3D v3 doesn`t startup

Featured Replies

Hello friends, once P3Dv3 finished its installation ok, i tried many times to run it but it closes during the startup;I only can see "loading scenery objects" and then something like

"traffic control" then it`s closed.

My system is as follows Intel 4790k,GTX 780 sc,and win7 64.

I use to have  P3D v2.5 and I uninstalled it.

I have the latest nvidia driver 355.98 and run P3D as admin.

Thanks for support!!!

Try to deactivate the trafficaircraft.bgl in the scenery/world/scenery directory.

I had the same issue and that helped.

I had this happen to me last night. Look in the Event Viewer>Custom Views>Administrative Events to see if you had an Event 1000 for P3D. It should show the faulting module. For me it turned out to be RAASPRO.dll that was loading in the dll.xml. I edited the dll.xml with notepad and changed false to true.  If you are not familiar on editing the dll.xml, see the AVSIM CTD Guide for P3D (see link in my signature), page 2.  RAASPRO.dll is installed with the PMDG aircraft and I got a notice while starting up that the module needed to be updated.  As far as I know, this has not been updated yet by FSCrew.

The only way to bypass this situation is to start the sim with a previous flight saved from P3DV2 or even V3.
