Just installed P3Dv3 and need help connecting TrackIR5.  I have installed the latest version 5.2.200 but when I start up P3Dv3 there is no head tracking in the sim?   It works in the Naturalpoint UI but non-responsive in P3Dv3.  I have read about installing the SDK which I have done but not sure exactly what needs to be done with the SDK files to get TrackIR working.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Exactly which files are you referring to?  There are various simmconnect files with various file extensions. 

The file extension would be .msi

I would install all of them for good measure.  They are located in the P3d\redist\ folder

For TrackIR the SP2 .msi SimConnect will do. As said, you can find it here:

 

Prepar3D v3/redist/Interface/FSX-SP2-XPACK/retail/lib/SimConnect.msi

 

Don't know who advised to installed the SDK but you don't need it at all so you might as well uninstall that one first.
