Repaints in P3Dv3

Featured Replies

How are repaints manually added in P3Dv3?  I am able to copy over the TEXTURE file to the appropriate Simobjects/Airplane folder but unable to modify the corresponding root aircraft.cfg file?

Because you installed P3Dv3 to the default path, you will have to assume control over your computer by logging on as the Administrator (or modify your normal logon to give yourself Admin permissions!)...

To think that there are still folks who wonder why many of us have recommended for decades to not install the sim into the heavily protected and controlled default ..\Program Files (x86) folder...

I honestly can't ever recall any significant problems in this department. UAC is disabled on my PC.
