Hi guys. I currently have a 22 and a half inch 1920 x 1080 Dell monitor (found in a clean up but working great).

 

Am thinking of getting a 29" 5ms(2560x1080) LG IPS29UM67-P (21:9) for AUD449.

As this monitor is 6 and a half inch bigger with a resolution of 2560 x 1080, could anyone please comment if iit would improve my FSX experience.

I've found ultra-wide monitors just couldn't give me that feeling of being in the cockpit.

I much prefer the bigger is better concept and the highest resolution your pc and gpu can deliver. Add TrackIR and the immersion is the best i've seen.

 

A cockpit setup dominated by hardware and monitors used to display scenery (as if out the window) is a different experience entirely.
