Anybody got the PBY by Alphasim, it struck me as being a little expensive at 24$: As there plane's are normally cheap and cheerfull, this one must be something special, and superior quality, to there normal offerings! So if anybody has one, I would welcome their opinion. Thanks

I don't have the PBY, but in the meantime, check out Bill and Lyn Lyons grumman goose. see other posts for more info, and/or look in the library for the free downloads. Sherm

Yes, i've got Bills "Goose", and would like a PBY of similar quality, i've done sevral searches, but apart from the "Mike Stone" one which I had, there appears to be nothing.Surely someone bought the Alphasim version? guess i'll just wait around awhileCheers

I guess you are flying FS9, but if by any chance you're still in FS2002:http://www.catalina.org.nz/flight_simulator1.htmIt's incompatible with the newer sim.Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a]

You might want to wait and see what the Aerosoft Catalina looks like. It has not yet been released, but there were some screenshots recently posted in the Aerosoft support forum.I suspect that their product might be more "in depth".
