I have tried version 1.15, 1.6 , and 1.7.

 

All have the same problem.

When I rename simconnectSP2.manifest1 to imconnectSP2.manifest1 

and rename simconnect.manifest to simconnect.manifest1

 

then TIR cannot find and work in FSX.

In fact only one  green light (left) goes on in the TIR camera.

 

If I have those two files with original names, then TIR can find FSX and TIR works with FSX.

 

This has always been the case since purchase of EZDOK, EZDOK has never worked for me.

simconnectSP2.manifest1

 

then run FSX and trackir and TIR no longer works at all,in fact only 1 green light comes on the TIR camera instead of 2 lights.

 

But if I change them back to the original names, then TIR works just fine again (but conflicts with EZDOK).

 

 

My system is Win 7 64 bit.

 

Again, TrackIR works fine if I'm not using EZDOK and keep those two files with original names.

 

I'm wondering how to make TIR see FSX when those 2 files are renamed? Because on my computer it cannot.

 

By the way I owned EZDOK over a  year and it always has been exactly like this, so I never could use it.

 

If I pause TIR, then EZDOK can change the views made with EZDOK and pan them and so forth. But it cannot do those things once I unpause TIR.

 

 

with my install ezdok config made the simconnect name changes for me. Do you have fsuipc ?

 

try running tir in admin mode

Yes, Admin rights was the problem, the only problem.

Working perfect now.

Tried about 4 hours yesterday in vain , never thought of rights, my main system is Windows 8 where

I don't have that issue.

I do feel embarrassed not to have realized my mistake...
