Small freezes

Featured Replies

I just installed the latest update and now I am getting freezes. What I mean the A/C seems to stop even though the airspeed is bleeding off then the sim starts again and the airspeed increases. It did it in climb and also in cruise. Any ideas?

Check in the MJC Q400 control panel that the FDE is sync'd to the sim, then if necessary limit the fps in the simulator.

It sounds like things are getting out of phase and then the CPU is skipping to get things back into synchronicity.

Which sim are you using? Are you using FSUIPC's autosave feature? This must be disabled with the Q400. Have you contacted Majestic support via their website/ email? I'm certain, Majestic would have some suggestions for you to try.

Heads up a new patch has just been released - 1.017 RC2

http://majesticsoftware.com/mjc8q400/support.html

Contains a v3-specific MJC84_main.dll as a beta (and optional) file - read instructions for installation.

Install over 1.016

Thanks for the heads up, Mallcott. You may want to consider posting this in it's own thread as a way of informing others, who may not frequent this particular sub forum.
