I am only using FSX-Steam Edition.

I found these maps, and now I wondering why there is a map for FSX?

 

C:\Users\nn\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

C:\Users\nn\AppData\Roaming\\Microsoft\FSX-SE

 

There are almost the same data in them.

That is OK if you installed both Sim, IMHO is better to use only steam version as is the major optimized version.

But If you had installed Steam on a vanilla windows it would kept the FSX structure of technical folder, on installing both of them now you have the two structure.

It was build like that to overcome the same setting.

I have only FSX-SE installed. I think that the other folder is a leftover from an older FSX installation.
