Black Tree Squares in Addon

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I understand that old FSX addons will have problems in P3d V3, but I'm hoping that maybe someone out there has a quick fix I could do for this. I'm trying to use the Plum Island Scenery and everything works as intended except for the trees:

I'm pretty sure it is the '.agn' files in the addon directory that are probably not encoded correctly, but I'm not sure how to open them to fix them. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello Jake,  to be honest,  you might not get anyone coming forward on this one,  If they do they will more then likely just advise you to get the proper V3 compatible Installer.  More flying less tinkering

Thanks for the response. I don't think this scenery will be updated to P3d, it was last updated in 2008. If anyone has detail about how agn files work and how i might fix them please let me know!

Disable or delete the following file will fix the black tree problem in p3d.  P3d was using this "all black" texture instead of the real tree texture.
