For P3Dv3 aircraft should / can be installed outside the P3Dv3 main folder (same for scenery).

 

For example I have Real Air Duke here:

F:\RealAir\Turbine Duke V2 P3D3\SimObjects\Airplanes\RealAir Duke Turbine V2

 

I ran Precip but I think it did not add effects to Real Air Duke?

Hi, PrecipitFX does not support external SimObjects Installations.

To install our effects on those aircraft, you must copy the aircraft in the sim's SimObject/Airplanes directory, run the PrecipitFX Install Utility and move the aircraft folder back to where you want it to be.

 

We will integrate this functionality in the future.
