Learning to Fly for My PPL

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone.  I've used the site for a couple of years in the background, been a simmer since SubLogic made Flight Simulator on the Commodore 64.  I used to fly Gliders in the late '80's and have tried out pretty much every version of MSFS and others.

I currently have XPlane 10.35, Prepar3d v2.5 and FSX 2004 and X

I am starting to learn to fly for my PPL and use A2A's Cessna 172 for that, and use PMDG 737 and 777 for Prepar3d.

I also have access to a full scale 737 simulator which I occasionally use.  Looking for knowledge to improve my own experience and to be able to talk to others that are avid simmers too - I haven't used Teamspeak 3 in ages, but can use that, would be looking for multi crew people to make the experience better and also learn more.

So, Hello to everyone and looking forward to getting to know you.

I would say welcome, but since you've already been here a while, i'll just say happy de-lurk day!

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
