November 25, 201510 yr Hello. I've recently did an analysis on my SSD and it turns out that the files in the temporary folder are using up a significant amount of space. Many of those files are related to P3D and the numerous add-ons I have. Is it safe to permanently remove them from my SSD? Thank you Damian Jez "The secrets of this earth are not for all men to see, but only for those who will seek them" -Ayn Rand, from the novel Anthem.
November 25, 201510 yr Commercial Member I have never had an issue with deleting files in that folder. Developers tend to use it when installing. There are a couple of files that pop up saying they cannot or should not be deleted so I just leave them in there. No biggie. I usually always say make a backup of something if you are not sure but if the folder is significantly huge that might not be an option.
