Well ProAtc co-pilot is that so long as you can takeoff and land yourself. purchased years ago, just tried first full flight and defiantly light years belter than RC4, that is as a whole package. Voices better, GUI much much better than rc4, get off your waypoints and Rc4 is better. ProATc works nice, even vectoring better than rc4, but proatc only works if you are in sync with it on way points, for which it provides Direct option for you to fix this when it happens. Provided you don't notice too late, when this happens, no atc for rest of flight. Saved flight feature works great, makes it easier to learn proatc, leanrt approach by replaying saved flight 3 times. Was very impressed how co-pilot flew from TOD set MCP , approach, tuned radios and course , vectored, lined up ILS , and I just had to disengaged auto pilot and land. Chatter is much better than rc4, closer to PFE chatter expcept fewer voices. ProAtc needs international voice pack like PFE. FSCommander flight planner seems better, so generate from FSC, then import to ProATC for finishing touches like sid star gate runways. Setup a good flight plan and the ProATC Copilot is impressive, was impressive to have someone align the course needle to each waypoint along the flight. Once you get out of sync with ProAtc waypoints, GameOver, in this regard the design is weak, but makes good challenge in the sim especially during take-off and landing, so now my takeoff no longer like bat out of hell, but more steady on the STD. If you still rc4ing waiting for more feedback, where here it is, ProATC. I would say setup complications of PFE also make ProATC better in my opinion. cause setup is easy the software is more uptodate.
