December 2, 201510 yr I am old guy been doing FS for a very long time.Finally had courage to upgrade to DX10 and Steve's Fixer.Looks great,cannot believe the difference,like a new FSX.Have the shadows now which I love,but need to get radio panel freq. lights brighter.Possible?Thanks,Ron Bring back Chief Illiniwek!University of Illinois.

December 3, 201510 yr Commercial Member Are you comparing dx10 with VC shadows with dx9 with the sun behind and the radio lit by sunlight passing through the roof? If you turn the aircraft in DX9 to face the sun then the radio will be in shadow the same as in DX10 I know in real life backlit displays aren't affected by shadows but in FSX they are.
