In what folder should I install PMDG-737

Featured Replies

I read in the tutorial that FSX should not be installed into the default folder.I then created a folder c:\FSX1 and installed

FSX there.

How about PMDG-737 ? Is it imperative to install it into same, that is c:\FSX1

The installer doesn't give you an option of where to put the NGX. It simply installs wherever you put FSX. Since you've placed FSX outside of the Program Files folder as requested, then you're all set.

Install. Done.

I disagree since the 737 destination folder has a BROWSE button allowing various folders.

Then I believe you're using an old installer.

Regardless, it needs to be the root folder of FSX, so C:\FSX1 in your case.
