December 8, 201510 yr Hi, I have tried sites like this: http://barelybad.com/FSX/FSXintro.htm#VIEWS and this: http://www.fstipsandaddons.com/tutorials/understanding-fsx-cameras.html but I can't seem to find out what I need. I want to add a new view to my aircraft that will cycle through my views, I'm prepared to skip one of the default views if I have to. The view I want is looking down, from the left hand seat to simulate scanning the ground in a VFR flight. It will also hel, on the left side for hovering in a chopper. Note: I tend to use the 2D forward view, as I have a home cockpit build. Can anyone point me in the right direction??? EDIT: I'm pretty sure I have the ability to add in a new view, but how do I get it to be one of the views I cycle through by presing the finger trigger on my Saitek yoke? - Paul Elliott http://www.avsim.com/topic/450607-amy-johnson-london-to-australia-attempt/
December 8, 201510 yr The second link has all the info you need to add such a camera, especially the Definition Properties. "Origin=Cockpit" and playing around with the "InitialXyz =" and "InitialPbh =" lines to get a good resulting view should do the trick. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
