Sonic Suite Software 2 and Windows Speech Recognition

Reports of problems with speech recognition are almost non-existent, but if you ever have an unexpected problem with speech recognition (super long pauses), and you're using Sonic Suite Software 2, maybe this will help.

From a user:

"Anyway, there were some other issues with FSX, so I decided to bite the bullet and do a full format-windows reinstall. After everything has been set up, I still had the same problem with speech recognition. I did some troubleshooting, and I noticed that the Sonic Suite 2 software that installs with the audio drivers for my mobo (Asus ROG Z170 Maximus VIII Ranger) are the cause of the problem, after I turned the software off from the taskbar, the speech recognition engine started functioning normally. I will contact ASUS as well, I just wanted to share this workaround in case any other user faces the same issue."
