December 20, 201510 yr This pertains to the 737 immersion. I get this error mesasge whenever I run the VFX Central program and apply the 737 options. However, the effects still appear to come up fine within the sim (I haven't seen any condensation, but I think I just haven't flown in the proper conditions yet). Just to be safe I reinstalled the latest FSUIPC but still get the error message. And yes, I have UAC turned off, antivirus, etc. I use FSX:Steam (no dual-install, just standalone SE). One think I wonder about...When I first installed it, in VFX both FSX and FSX:SE had the options selected, but I changed it as depicted below, disabling the regular "FSX" options: http://puu.sh/m2yJG/ee63dbdd6d.png Should I have done this?
December 21, 201510 yr Commercial Member Hi Michael, You installed it right! Do you have any Migration tool installed? It seems like the default FSX Registry points to a valid path... Regards, Keven Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
December 22, 201510 yr Author Nope, no migration tool. Anyhow, regardless of the error message, like I said the effects appear to work, so I won't complain.
