FSUIPC "might not be installed properly"

Recommended Posts

This pertains to the 737 immersion.

I get this error mesasge whenever I run the VFX Central program and apply the 737 options. However, the effects still appear to come up fine within the sim (I haven't seen any condensation, but I think I just haven't flown in the proper conditions yet). Just to be safe I reinstalled the latest FSUIPC but still get the error message. And yes, I have UAC turned off, antivirus, etc. I use FSX:Steam (no dual-install, just standalone SE).

One think I wonder about...When I first installed it, in VFX both FSX and FSX:SE had the options selected, but I changed it as depicted below, disabling the regular "FSX" options:

Should I have done this?

Hi Michael,

You installed it right!

Do you have any Migration tool installed? It seems like the default FSX Registry points to a valid path...

Regards,

Keven

Nope, no migration tool. Anyhow, regardless of the error message, like I said the effects appear to work, so I won't complain.
