September 10, 200520 yr THe people who make Mega Scenery recommended that the files be placed on a second hard drive to speed up scenery loading. I got a second HD and the result is amazing. There are no more tiles that come up slowly. All Megascenery areas are in full view as I scan from virtual cockpit. Is there any way this could be applied to the default scenery setup in FS9? That is, is there a way to get the default scenery transferred to a second hard drive to speed up loading? Thanks,Bruce
September 11, 200520 yr You can put scenery anywhere you want. Second drive, CD, network drive. Or I guess you could cache it to a second drive.scott s..
September 11, 200520 yr Bruce - Move the entire Scenery folder to the second drive and then update the Scenery.cfg file to show the path to the new drive (the path to the new scenery location must be changed on the "Local=" line for each scenery area).Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage.
