BTW is there a reason that FSX pauses about 5 hours in to a flight when there has been no activity. I have unchecked the pause on task in the settings. Time for a crew rest. December 25, 201510 yr Author UPDATE, About 2.5 hours out in the dark of the night, halfway to PHNL the sound all the sudden went mute. When I made my way to the desk top the Menu Bar said (Not Responding) so I clicked on the panel to see if it paused but the PC totally froze up and I had to END TASK to close it. It has happened in daytime flights as well. This happen even on my Ifly 747 when attempting to do USA to Europe.Asia flights over water. I can fly trans-cons without an issue with my 737 747 and even the 777. Does anyone have a clue as to what is happening. I really want to do a long range flight with this bird. To understand the reason why fsx crashed, the best to do is to go to the windows event viewer, look for errors in the windows log in the applications and find the error regarding FSX. It could an error with a module or an dll file. Then search the web for issues with that module or dll file on the internet and you will probably get the answers you are looking for.
