December 28, 201510 yr Noticed that a few people as well as myself are having problems in V2 We are unable to remove the wheel fairings via the pop up menu shft/4 the box unticks but the fairings remain. is this a problem across the board and are there any workarounds ? cheers Lew HAL 9000....... When FMC's go bad........very bad
December 29, 201510 yr I haven't found any workaround to this problem yet. I've emailed Carenado support, I'm waiting to see what they say. I'm thinking of just reverting back to the older version. I really didn't notice much change with the version 2. I expected more from a new version versus just a patch. I was hoping for GTN integration, but alas, nothing. -Scott
December 29, 201510 yr I submitted a support ticket. Here is the response: GreetingsThank you for your valuable feedback. We'll consider it to include as a modification on the future version we will release for the aircraft. Very confusing. The product is advertised with the feature to display/remove the wheel fairings, now they will consider it for a future release? I really had no issue with the prior versions so it looks like I may revert back to the older version as well. --WH

December 30, 201510 yr Can you revert back now they have changed the registration codes ? That's a good question. I still have my original download with the old registration code. I'll have to try it and find out. -Scott
January 2, 201610 yr I was able to re-install the old version with my previous registration code and download. The wheel pants can be removed once more. -Scott
