Saved a new default flight last night in P3D v3 and afterwords the sim would CTD every time I tried to load it.  Changed the startup flight, fixed, loads every time.  Then I have to change weather and aircraft though.

 

Anyone know of a fix for this issue??  I've dug around a little and found others with the issue but didn't see a clear solution.

I have this same problem with 3.1. For me.....if the default flight loads the PMD7 NGX, it CTDs.  Seems to be a known issue.

I simply start with the scenario editor and a default plane.  From there I load the flight with the PMDG aircraft I want.  Not a big deal.  As far as I know there is no other solution.

If your wanting to fly the Ngx you must load the default flight with the default plane. Then load the Ngx
