January 2, 201610 yr Folks, Curious how much of a performance benefit there might be between a 4790K at 4.7ghz, or a 6700K at the same clock speed? Grateful for any feedback. I'm considering the move to P3D 3.1. Also, is a GTX 780 sufficient? Thanks in advance! January 2, 201610 yr Would upgrade the video card to either a GTX 970 or 980. Can't comment on the CPU, I have the 4790k at default 4.0 ghz and it does fine. Cheers Martin
January 2, 201610 yr I just purchased the 6700K, but haven't built my system, but if you buy the 6700K then that will make me feel better about it . The 970 is "ok" for P3D, watch the SGSS though, especially if you're running 1400p or 4K.
