I am running SimServer Remote CDU Version 2.2.0.0 with the PMDG 777X in licensed mode.

 

The problem I have is that after a certain time without any activity (a few minutes?) on the iPhone I receive an "FMC timeout" message on the iPhone. I then have to restart SimServer (or at last that's what brings me back the FMC sceen on the iPhone again).

 

Any idea to prevent this timeout?

does this always happen? Or can you find a situation where this occurs?

I have loaded the INIT page and let it display for ~ 30 minutes and I didn't get a timeout.

Can you help me troubleshoot this?

I have not been able yet to figure out when exactly this disconnection occurs. I wil try to figure it out a bit more in detail. It might even be related to opening a P3D menu, changig windows, or so.

 

What I can say already now is that when pressing any buttun in the respective computer's FMC, then the iPhone sceen is coming back again (without having the need to restart the SimServer).

As far as I could figure out the timeout just comes up when calling a GSX configuration menue. I have not been able to force a timeout otherwise. The problem can therefore be treated as solved.

Hi Andreas,

 

I've been able to verify and fix this issue. It will be part of the next update to the app.

For now, anyone running into this problem: just press any key and it will remedy itself immediately. Also, it will automatically go away if you are on a page that is being updated (like PROG or LEGS).
