Heading select

Featured Replies

I was flying into KTPA in the -300er.. I was assigned a heading of 180 for downwind to 01L.. Turned heading to 180, clicked heading select and the plane kept turning to about 240, I had to disconnect A/P to get the heading right.. Then on turn to base, it overshot the heading by 10 degrees and turned back to correct itself.. I'm on P3D version 3.1... Can someone test this?

Flew this just fine the other night. Have any weather add-ons you're using at the same time?

Using ASN..

Does this happen when ASN is not running?

Do you use hardware? If so, does this happen when the hardware is turned off?

I don't know, I never fly without real weather, I guess I can test without.. I have a CH yoke, but never fly without that either.. NGX works great though..

Are you doing anything differently between the 737 and 777? Load programs? Any other add-on programs?

Nope, exactly the same..

I have accufeel, but don't think that makes a difference. Use it for all planes..
