you know if you guys at avsim who put this on, if you would want to make some money, it sure would be nice to get a pro video crew in there and video tape all the lectures and presentations along with other misc things and put it out on a 2-4hr dvd or vhs tape, i would be the first in line to buy one of these! and i bet many others as wellciao!Brian S

If AVSIM made a video, then why would you attend the conference? The whole point is to get Flight Simmers face to face.I would like Microsoft to do a FS10 Web Cast with question and answer. The reason why anyone should make a video DVD of thingsd like this conference would be so that us poor folk down in the deep southern end of Africa don't have to shell out half a lifetime's savings just to get there, ya dope!Just joking. But seriously, the exchange rate between the Rand and Dollar at the moment in at something like six to one. I'm guessing here but I reckon a plane ticket to the States and back would cost anything from $1000 and up. Factor in the cost of accommodation there, etc, etc and it becomes really expensive.

I would just like to voice my opinion that a video of the event would be great. I'm also a member on a sceptic forum that runs an annual convention, they have had a video of the event for the past few years and if anything the popularity of the event has increased.If it is possible, I would love to see a video of the next event.Simon.

people would still go to the conference, for the face to face, hands on thing, your correct the video wouldn't replace it it would add to it! all you have to do is to include several interviews one on one style and the lectures and some major highlights and i think people would be purchasing it that went even as a nice token to remember the great event and us other people who couldn't make it wouldnt feel so left in the dark about everything and avsims wins because:1. make a little extra money2. i bet would increase attendance in following eventsciao!Brian S

I hope to h@@l that they make blurry ground textures their main focus to fix in the next version. Did they address that issue at all?Rivets around a sunken gas cap and reflective textures on ruways are fine but is meaningless if we have the same blurring problems in the next version.David

I think a video of the conference would be great. It wouldn't even have to be pro quality,it wouldn't have to encompass every minute of the conference. I think it would be interesting to say the least.Many can't attend due to work,vacation already used,family or health issue's etc. If anything it would probably increase attendance when you see what your missing out on.David

Its a well known,well documented problem that does come and go. Sometimes it works like you describe,other times the blurring is almost right below the aircraft. I've seen it both ways on my rig so I know its not the card.Its a texture problem/texture loading problem of some kind. I'd sure like to see it addressed.David
