January 20, 201610 yr Hi all, I subscribe to Navigraph and use this in conjunction with avilasoft EFB. Something has been bugging me for a while. Sometimes the ground charts showing stand numbers don't match up with EFB? So I might be at stand 200 according to EFB but a totally different stand according to the ground charts in Navigraph. I use the same airac data for both. Why is this and is there anything I can do about it? Thanks Thomas Derbyshire
January 20, 201610 yr EFB is reading the AFCAD. Navigraph is getting its data from the AIRAC. They are rarely the same and, in fact, the Navigraph data rarely represents the entirety of any given airport. It typically represents only the gates that some single airline actually uses/used. Unless you have full, real world, gate data and are willing to modify both the AFCADs and the AIRAC there is nothing you can do about it. DJ
January 20, 201610 yr Author Thanks for the reply. The gate numbers within fsx from the airport selection screen must be pulling from the AFCAD as well then I assume? Thomas Derbyshire
January 21, 201610 yr That's correct - it comes from the AFCAD. That's why you see so many generic gates... DJ
